KEY TAKEAWAYS
- New educational content: Roadside Attractions is a new video series designed to share industry knowledge and experience with promotional products professionals.
- Focus on real stories: The series provides lessons, stories, and conversations from industry veteran Rod Brown, rooted in decades of real-world experience rather than traditional sales tactics.
Branded Merch Network creates Roadside Attractions, an original educational video series for the promotional products buying group PromoEQP, featuring industry veteran Rod Brown.
The five-part series focuses on the people, principles, and relationships in the branded merchandise industry. Through personal stories, business insights, and conversations, each episode is designed to help today's professionals learn from experienced industry members. According to the announcement, the series offers thoughtful conversations rooted in decades of real-world experience rather than traditional sales training.
"I've been fortunate to spend a lifetime learning from remarkable people in this industry," Brown says. "Roadside Attractions is my way of passing a few of those lessons along and hopefully helping someone else enjoy the journey just a little bit more."
The series will premiere this summer and fall, with the first episode scheduled for release in August. As an exclusive benefit for the PromoEQP community, episodes will debut first through its digital channels and will be accompanied by live "Workshop Hours" with Brown. Approximately 30 days later, episodes will be released through Branded Merch Network to the broader promo, print, and apparel decoration communities.
Jeremy Chacon of PromoEQP says the series reflects the organization's commitment to investing in the growth and success of independent distributors.
"Every industry has people whose influence reaches far beyond their own business. Rod is one of those people," Chacon says. "His willingness to share what he's learned, invest time and resources in others, and spark connections and conversations is exactly what we believe is best about this industry."
